Animal Crossing : New Horizons will receive its second update of the summer on July 30. Lighting up the sky with custom fireworks every Sunday night in August. The moon returns, allowing you to enter the fairytale landscape and explore new islands. The game’s backup data is currently being sent to Nintendo Switch Online members. Check out the new features in the video and press release below:
A dazzling color palette is ready to explode in the night sky of your island as the calming waves of the sea roll onto the shore. There will be weekly fireworks in August when the Summer Update – Wave 2* newsletter arrives at Animal Crossing: A new New Horizons game for the Nintendo Switch system!
For those with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, the update adds the ability to sleep and dream in the game, as well as visit other people’s islands. A new island backup service has also been added, allowing Nintendo Switch Online users to back up their saved game files. These functions can be used regardless of the hemisphere in which your island is located.
From the 30th. In July, a free update of Summer Update – Wave 2 will add the following features to the game:
- Fireworks – Every Sunday in August at 7pm, enjoy an atmospheric fireworks display that lights up the sky above your island. Indulge yourself by exchanging raffle bubbles in the square to receive various Christmas items for your use. Add a personal touch with your own design template and watch them float in the air like fireworks!
- Sleep – You can now take a nap in any bed in your house. Luna offers visits to other islands like a dream, and you can use it to share your island like a dream. Those who share their island are given a dream address that players can exchange and use to visit each other’s island in their dreams. Nothing is permanent in a dream, because nothing you do is permanent, so explore it if you want.
- Island Backup and Restore Service – Nintendo Switch Online members can activate the new Island Backup service, which automatically downloads saved island and user data from the Internet at a specified time. If your Nintendo Switch system is lost or damaged, you may be able to restore your island paradise if you have Island Save enabled. In case of loss or damage, contact Nintendo Customer Service to restore your island and save the user data on a new or repaired Nintendo Switch. Once island and individual player data is restored, you can get back to building your island community! **** For more information, visit the Nintendo Consumer Support page when the update takes effect. The Island Save feature is separate from the Cloud Save feature offered by Nintendo Switch Online for some Nintendo Switch games. A specific function for crossing animals: New horizons for moving users and storing data on another system are planned for the end of the year. Details will be announced later.
Give yourself a break this summer and don’t forget to relax with your island fireworks on Animal Crossing : New horizons. The next step will be a free fall update. We hope you enjoy it!
