After his long battle with cancer, Steve Jobs has passed away today at the young age of 56.

 

“Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve. His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts.”

 

These were the words written on Apple’s main page; words for a man who changed the face of the electronic’s industry and revolutionized the relationship between the consumer and the corporation. We are all deeply saddened by the loss of a man who was one of the most influential figures of the last decade. Our thoughts go out to his friends and family.
