The CEO of NotionINK, Rohan Shravan, has let it be known that the next generation Adam tablet will be available by December of this year.  The first NotionINK Adam was one of the first tablets to feature a Tegra 2 processor, and one of the only tablets to use the Pixel Qi display. This LCD display allows a sunlight readable display to be activated when needed, having an eInk black & white appearance. Reviews were mixed of the original Adam (check out our review HERE), but NotionINK has soldiered on and continues to update the device.

While no exact specs have been given for the NotionINK Adam 2 the rumors are that it will feature an updated Pixel Qi display, and the upcoming Tegra 3 quad-core processor. Hopefully NotionINK has learned a great deal with the release of their first device. The Adam 2 could have the potential to be a success if they address concerns that developed with the original Adam. CEO Rohan Shravan also stated the device would be shown off at CES 2012 in January.
