Toshiba Thrive’s having issues waking from sleep.
Reports have spread like wildfire that Toshiba’s new Android tablet called the Thrive is having issues waking from sleep mode. In most cases the users have to hard reboot the device to get it back up and running. Toshiba has responded that a fix will be on the way, but has given no time line when this fix might hit your shiny new tablet.
Many are pointing out that Toshiba’s first Android tablet called the Folio 100 was pulled off shelves in Europe because of several issues. This could raise more questions about Toshiba’s ability to produce quality tablets. The Thrive was highly anticipated by some for its many ports, and removable battery. Most have been happy with the build quality of the Thrive, although it is one of the heaviest Honeycomb tablets on the market. Hopefully Toshiba gets things fixed up real quick.
