If you were one of the lucky ones to get a hold of a Asus Transformer you will be happy to hear that the upcoming Android 3.1 update has already leaked to the interwebs. The official update is supposed to be out in just a few weeks, but if you want it now you can get it here. Doesn’t take much to do except loading it on your SD card and then a few other steps.

Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) is a small update to the tablet only version of Android. Officially only released for the Motorola XOOM at this point, it seems to speed transitions up and offer access to the new Google Music Beta (if you have your invite). You can also scroll through more of your recently opened apps for multi-tasking. Most devices running Android 3.0 or 3.01 should get the update within the next few weeks. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will release with it, unlike the Special Edition units that were given out at Google I/O.
