Many have been waiting for a 7 inch Honeycomb tablet. Acer had promised it would be coming soon with the Iconia A100 being the first tablet less then 10 inches to hit the market. It was first reported that the A100 was going to hit the market around June of this year, but now its release has been pushed back to some time in the second half of 2011. Most likely it will be released in the USA anytime between July and September, otherwise known as Q3.

No reasons have been given for the delay, but some are speculating that its software related. There is still also no official word on the pricing for the device for the USA.
