Even though we had heard that Android 2.x devices will not get Android 3.0 (Honeycomb), HTC is saying that their upcoming HTC Flyer will eventually get Honeycomb when it is available. Upon release the HTC Flyer will be running Android 2.3 with a new version of their Sense UI optimized for tablets. My hope is that this isn’t a ploy just so people don’t feel short changed by picking up a tablet that doesn’t feature the new tablet version of Android, and then they say their will be no upgrade.
