ViewSonic G-Tablet just $280 today ONLY! UPDATE: DEAL ENDED.
Woot is offering the ViewSonic G-Tablet for just $279.99 today. This is a one day deal. The ViewSonic G-Tablet was one of the first Tegra 2 dual-core Android tablets on the market. It usually sells for around $379, and can be found at retailers such as Sears and Office Depot. While the tablet has been maligned for its buggy software, the hardware is pretty solid. Our review was done several months ago and can be found HERE. The tablet ships with Android 2.2 and not the latest Android 3.0 (Honeycomb), which is built for tablets.
The development community has taken hold of the G-Tablet and you can load up some ROMS that work better then the stock software. I am sure we are not far off from a Honeycomb ROM either. This is a great deal if you want to break into the tablet world, or want a tablet to hack around with. Go to WOOT to take part in this deal. The deal is only good for today, March 23rd.
