Pocketnow.com has been doing a little sleuthing down at CTIA, and they have uncovered some news about the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. It seems Samsung has decided to add a custom UI over the top of Honeycomb. This would be the first device in the list of new devices that will have a custom UI. It seems the new UI will include Live Panels, custom widgets and a app switcher that is similar to the BlackBerry PlayBook.

The image below also gives an idea of some of the new devices specs. It seems the 8.9 will have a 1280 X 800 WVGA resolution, weighs in at 460 grams, is 8.9mm thick and will have a 1GHz dual core processor. Anyone interested?
