Looks like Verizon has finally seen the light when it comes to charging activation fees on month to month Motorola XOOM purchases. They have now decided to waive the fee that they had been charging since the XOOM first came out. This fee typically left a bad taste in the mouth of XOOM buyers since the folks that were buying the iPad did not have to pay it. So, chalk one up for the little guy as big red finally listens. Just make sure that you check your receipt for that refund of $35.
