Buying your Apple iPad 2 on Friday.

The Apple iPad 2 goes on sale this Friday at 5pm. Most retailers are not offering any sort of pre-order, but you will have several store options for picking one up. The first place many will probably pick theirs up is at an Apple retail store. Our guess is that lines will be biggest there, but they will show you the tablet, and probably have the most accessories available.
Best Buy and Target will also be selling them in store at 5pm. Best Buy has confirmed that they will have the WiFi, and both AT&T and Verizon 3G versions. They will have the white and black body styles available. We are not sure which models Target will be carrying. Walmart has announced they will be offering the iPad 2 online at some point. We can also suspect that Verizon and AT&T should have them both available in stores, but have had no confirmation on this yet.
Remember at Best Buy you can purchase their new Buy Back Program. For $69.99 you get a 2-yr protection plan in which you can exchange the device and get up to 50% of your original purchase price on a Best Buy gift card that is good for 6 months. This is nice since an iPad 3 will surely be out sometime in the next year, maybe even as early as this December.
