The HP TouchPad was just announced officially on February 9th. Today, we are starting to here rumors of when it might be available to you  and me. Right now the timing is pegged for before the end of June. Which is a little bit ahead of the summer release that was talked about at the announcement. The other part of the rumor is the price which is suggested to be $699. This is a bit cheaper then the Motorola Xoom which will be coming out later this month but still higher then a couple of the iPad offerings. Does this sound like a good price point for a WebOS tablet or is HP sinking this tablet in to oblivion from the beginning? Let us know in the comments and the forums.
