Time Warner Cable has signed a deal with Samsung which will enable their subscribers to access TV channels, Video-On-Demand, and their DVR through Samsung devices which include the Galaxy Tab. This access is said to be coming later this year.

It is good to see that Android devices are finally getting the attention of big media content providers. This is imperative for Android tablets, otherwise the iPad would continue to dominate in this category. For Android tablet to be taken seriously they will need more deals of this nature.
