I’m not a toy, I’m a professional says the Blackberry Playbook.

Mike Lazaridis, co-CEO of RIM calls the Blackberry Playbook the “first professional tablet” and it will be launched in US in early 2011. The price is rumored to be between $300-$500 USD. According to RIM, the BlackBerry Tablet OS is built upon the QNX Neutrino microkernel architecture, and unlike the Ipad it will be Adobe Flash capable.
Blackberry has always been about enterprise, and their tablet will be no different. One of their goals is that it will be used widely in the health care industry. With their legacy of secure devices RIM feels they are better situated for this market then the Ipad.
